Bordo Bello

The 2009 Bordo Bello skateboard art fundraiser was a HUGE success - what a great event! Above is the board I donated. It got auctioned off at the event. I tried my hand at winning a few boards but fell short, hopefully I'll have better luck next year.

Local Artist I'm diggin': Alyson Khan

A couple of weeks ago I was at Metropolis Coffee and stumbled upon Alyson Khan's art. From the moment I saw it, I was sucked in. The colors, the composition... I couldn't NOT look at it. Upon further inspection of each piece I discovered they were collages. Great stuff. Seriously, check out her site: http://www.unevenfloor.com/.
